Santa used to put my mom's favorite candy in my stocking. Didn't he know that I did not like maple nut goodies in my younger years? Now, they are pretty darn yummy. 4951

Everyone always gets: an orange, mixed nuts, chocolate, and some small something depending on their interest.  When my son was younger I would put small lego sets in there.  The girls get perfume or lip gloss.  My eldest though is my artist, so usually some art supplies in there for her.Oh yeah, one year everyone got sonic screwdrivers for stocking stuffers.  Yeah, we love Dr. Who around here. 4951

@WskyTngoFxtrt:
Nope. Our stockings hang on the cute hook all through December, but come Christmas morning, they are on the floor propped up against the fireplace overflowing with loot. I never said everything was inside of the stocking, just mostly inside of & around said persons stocking, lol.

We have been giving our 2 older kids scratch off lottery tickets the past couple of years, I think they have won maybe $6 total! Emoticon Candy, some fun little craft item (last year we got our son a make your own crystal christmas tree) , mini body spray. For the baby, bubble bath, a mini book, hair pretties, and this year a big girl cup!! No sippy sup after Christmas! For my husband, hot sauce, hot sauce, hot sauce lol, small bottle of liquor, beef jerky.. And if I just see something I think they may  like, I grab it and throw it in. My mother in law likes to put oranges and apples in too Emoticon 4951
