Yes, I listened to the whole thing.  Never thought of gender roles as good/evil.  Something to ponder. 4951

I think he's right. But the meanings/associations have already been placed on these things by society. The association is deeply ingrained in our culture now.
 
Same thing with money. Money is a neutral thing, it's what people do with it and use it for that's evil.
 
Last night on the news there was a report about a major study done about how females and males are perceived in the work force. They did mock exact job interviews with a male and a female saying and responding word for word to the same interview questions. When the woman answered with the cocky self confident response to questions, she was scored lower and negatively as opposed to when the male said the exact same words.
 
In the end the female was not chosen for the job as often as the male candidate in identical responses and answers. Even the female interviewers scored the female lower as well as the men interviewers.
 
It seems confidently aggressive women are perceived negatively by both sexes. Interesting that. 4951
