My son wouldn't touch cheesecake because he thought it was made with regular cheese. I made the mistake of encouraging him to try a taste. After that, he always saved room for cheesecake!
@Retired_Engineer:Â We call Cheese cake our Angel here because when my daughter was abused by her dentist she would not eat for months because she thought she would choke to death. Her pediatrician said her fear was very real and proceed cautiously. I had to force feed her pediasure, juices and soft foods. We were getting mighty close to a feeding tube. Every Friday when hubby got paid I would take her to lubys and get tons of food and just sit there hoping she would eat....I would pack it all up and take it home nearly in tears it didnt get touched then one Friday I set a piece of lubys cheese cake infront of her and she licked it.....LOL...then licked it again but didnt eat it. I packed it up and brought it home and around 2 am I heard the fridge and sure enough there she was shoving a whole cheese cake in her mouth! She lived on it for weeks and then finally started eating again...It was a life saver. To this day her whole face lights up when you sit a piece of cheese cake in-front of her....roflmao!
