Mail and More on Woodland hills.   Be careful.  They charged me 15.00 for a box of media mail books.   I just got that box back marked undeliverable bc the address tore off.  Guess what?  It was only 7.38 to mail it.  I can understand a mark up for going there but really?   Now I have to pay to mail this again?  This is the %^&*(.Not in a Good Mood. . I had every thing packaged too all they had to do was slap on the postage. 4951

We've used them numerous times at this location and the previous one.  Never had any issues. Try using the post office on WLH and see how that goes for you.  I HATE going there.  The workers don't even want to be there and they move so dang slow making sure that they help the same amount of customers that it takes forever.I would go and talk to them at Mail & More. 4951

A woman helped me.  This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with them. I did go back up there.  The same lady was there and she was in a bad mood.  I did not make a scene about the mark up bc she had other customers there..  I went before Thanksgiving to mail this the first time.   The lady wanted to repackage it and charge me again.  I said no thanks.   I have used the post office on many occasions and the wait has been 30 min at the longest and I have gotten the same or better service.  I have waited almost that long at mail and more on several occasions.   Every time I go in mail or more I feel like I am getting marginal service that is way overpriced.  Over 50 percent mark up for slapping on some postage is ridiculous.  Especially if you can't even be pleasant.  I sent the box back out as is with a new address label bc the mail system will try again at no charge a second time.  Mail and more was not going to inform me of that and instead charge me again.  4951

@zephard: go to ups.com and set up an account. You can print your own labels at home and just dropped it off in a ups bin. 4951

I had a mishap with them and never went back. They charged me 42.00 for a shoe box size parcel. So giving them the benefit of doubt I went back to ask there charge fees. She would not tell me. So after a rather large argument while customers lined up she finally relented. I went to the po and compared prices. Much cheaper at po... 4951

@fcabanski: And a LOT slower.  I just used PostalNet in the HEB plaza over the weekend and was very impressed with the young girls working there and the prices.

Stores that have to order product and store that product and pay for the display space of Product and hire employees to sale product have overhead that causes them to charge up to 50 percent more than what they paid for the product wholesale.

Mail and more does not have this type of product that they sale. Over 50 percent mark up for weighing a package and putting postage on it is over the top. It takes one employee, they have not paid shipping for product or invested in any product, they don't need tons of retail space for product. They don't pay taxes at the end Of the year on the product they did not sale and still have in storage.

I wouldn't be so disagreeable about a smaller mark up but to charge more than 50 percent more when your cost of operation are less than regular retail stores is the issue I have. I think they are taking advantage. They will not tell people what they charge for their part Of the service of mailing something for a reason, and it is because people would feel ripped off. 4951

You can sign up online for UPS or USPS. Print your labels at home and avoid the mark up. 4951
