They will probably let him play the season out and then give him his walking papers.

But he's not the only one that needs to go. Rick Smith, Rick Dennison, Joe Marciano and Matt Schaub should only be a start. This franchise needs a tougher culture and needs a ground up rebuilding.

With Schaub gone, we can lock up JJ Watt to a long term contract, but then we have to get real creative in the draft. Almost everywhere you look we have needs to fill. Most of our stars are injury-prone, so depth is a major concern.

Unfortunately by the time we build a contender Andre Johnson will be real close to retirement. I really wish that guy could get a ring before he retires. 4951

I like keenum, for a rookie QB I think he's done a great job so far. 4951

Were going to pay both Schaub and Kubiak thru 2014. Kubiak will be let go and they will bring in another coach keeping Schaub as the number 2 until his contract is over.  4951

@PedroDePacas: I agree with everything here....add...get rid of dough boy as well....bring in someone like a John Gruden as Head Coach and shake this place to the core.

@rdizzle:
Nobody want's Schaub he's proven he's inconsistent and his mobility has been compared to a glacier. Face it Texans fans were gonna eat that big fat extension we gave him. Cut him and we pay him, keep him on the bench we pay him. It's a lose lose for the organization. 4951

An offense that isn't predictable may be what is best for a qb like cotton schaub. Just depends on who they bring in as head coach.
