@Bubbleyes72....thank you for asking ....the dogs ( 3 poodles) were really very good they stayed close to us ( hubby & I ) but they barked like crazy when they heard the rain on the roof . it sounded like horses running across . Hubby said it almost sounded like a plane coming in for a landing .
I was not alone or I might have been afraid , hubby was here till he left at 3 am to go to the airport to catch his flight out for Houston , he will be there for 2 weeks this time , but home for the week-end (Hooray ). It was all cleared out by 7pm that evening so when hubby left it had all passed already .
If it had been snow instead of rain we would have over a foot of snow , so we were very lucky that it was rain or we would have been shoveling the driveway at 1am.
Got to love the quick change in the weather in Ky.
@WJo: Sounds exciting, scary and a lot of work all at the same time, I'll pass on weather like that.... Boring works just fine for me here in Texas! Glad to know he was home with you and the poodles. So you never travel along with him from time to time? 4951
