My wife fell down and hurt her legs.  She bruised the right knee (where she had knee replacement surgery) but apparently pulled something in her left leg.  We put ice on it during the night and have a doctor's appointment tomorrow.  The right knee appears to be OK, the swelling is gone and will probably just be bruised.  The left leg is still very sore and she hurts when she straightens it.On top of that, my CPAP machine stopped working.  When it rains, it pours!   Emoticon 4951

funny you should mention that , as you know my hubby had surgery on both his knees & everything went fine , then last week for no reason at all both knees started to give him pain , but behind his knees not in front where the actual surgery was performed . The doctor said  cyst have formed behind his knees & until the cyst  are drained or go down by their selves it will continue to cause him pain . Sure hope your wife does not have any serious problems from her fall , prayers coming to both of you .... 4951

Hope your wife feels better soon. I'm paranoid about falling on the knee I had replacement surgery on. I'm sure they can fix whatever she did, 4951

She has no idea what made her fall.  She said she turned and took a step and down she went.  She had on long baggy pants so maybe her foot got snagged in one leg.  She hit the floor pretty hard, but fortunately she didn't hit her head on anything. 4951

After we got up this morning and I got her settled, I took my CPAP machine to Memorial Hermann Home Health so they could check it out (they provided it originally).  The guy turned it on, listened to it, and said "Yep, it's not working."  (DUH!).  They don't fix them so he gave me the name and address of a place that does fix them.  I drove there and the guy that fixes them won't be in until Friday....... or Monday.Got home and called insurance.  They will have Memorial Herman Home Health either have it fixed or replace it.  Since the guy said they don't fix them, I guess they will replace it.Until then, when I snore, my wife can't kick me, but she can poke me with her finger! 4951

@Retired Engineer - sorry to hear about your wife, hope she recovers fully and that it is not due to some long-term issues.  Also, good luck on getting the CPAP fixed, for both of you. 4951

I fell at the gym, then hurt my knee when I tried to stand.  There was a hole in the floor.  My knee went down into the hole. 4951

How is your wife today @Retired_Engineer?I hope she is feeling better and no serious damage was done to her knee. All this on top of you two just getting over those bad colds.Feel better soon!

@Fallon:  Thanks!  She's able to walk but I am making her use her walker (from her knee surgery).  Her right knee is sore.  It's her left leg that is still causing her the most pain.  Keeping it iced down and she had some pain killers left from her surgery.  Will see the doc tomorrow.
