For the first year ever I already have the Christmas bug this early. I'm already in the mood to put up the tree & the rest of the decorations! (Not the outside lights though.) I thought they'd tell me I was crazy but DH & DD are both actually onboard with me! You have no idea how bad I'm itching to make ornaments with DD & hide that damn elf. Doing my very best to wait until after thanksgiving to do those though. So my question to you is, is it too early to start decorating & getting in the Christmas spirit?? 4951

Never too early.

I really don't get all the haters. If you want to celebrate Thanksgiving and wait for any Christmas decorations, go for it! But some people consider Christmas the most wonderful time of the year and would like to begin celebrating earlier. 4951

@WskyTngoFxtrt:

I'm thankful everyday. Thanksgiving is eating too much & resting up for Black Friday sales. I don't even feel guilty for thinking that way either, lol. 4951

I decorate the day after Thanksgiving. Putting it up is fun...taking it down sucks. I don't decorate outdoor apart from a wreath on the door. I love decorating the staircase with garland and lights. I am actually excited about Christmas this year in our new home!! 4951

I can't decide WHEN! Maybe tomorrow night? Maybe this weekend?? I'll probably try to hold off until the weekend, that way I have plenty of time to clean house & can at least say I waited until November was half way over. 4951
