>> Very nice hoist. You fish the salt much in your yak?
@TexasTideFan:  I really dont know much about saltwater fishing. Certainly would like to learn. I think we are going to try the bay in a couple weeks.
@kingwooddiscgolf: Go to the website at 2CoolFishing.com when you are ready. Lots of yak guys on there can help you out. The only in-shore I do is over in Hackberry, LA and the bite has been on lately over there. I fish mostly offshore.Â
@TexasTideFan: Thanks, will check out the website. We have done some surf wading but just catch junk fish. Going to try the bay soon and maybe take the kayaks around Seawolf park area.
@kingwooddiscgolf: I hit the surf sometimes. Usually go to the Boliver Pocket. It's on the backside of the jetties on the Boliver side. It's usually a little cleaner water and more calm than the straight up surf. Got to be careful though as the sharks are think and so are the sting-rays. I try to stick with artis in the surf to keep the trash fish you catch to a minimum. The surf is usually on between late June into August.Â
