Ever start to do something easy, and 2 days later, it is still not done, and driving you crazy?I have an older Dell Latitude D800 laptop. All I wanted to do is get rid of Win xp.Install a Unbuntu version on it.Downloaded yet another version to try.First the DVD drive seems hosed, so after burning 2 different DVD's with a bootable image, gave up on that.So now I am creating bootable jump drives (USB Sticks) and find out the CPU (Pentium M) is too old for the newer kernels. No PAE support.Man, it never ends.Should have just bought a Chrome Book, geesh. 4951

I am sorry for whatever that was you said up there...^^^^^.

But if you don't give up, you learn stuff even if it doesn't turn out like what you wanted.

@mardigrasman: If I was going to buy a tablet, it would be an android one.Microsoft just is clueless.it's one of those things that sounds good in commercials, but the reality is some people say it is flawed in execution. If you are an iPhone user, get an iPad, if you are an adroid user, get an Android Tablet. The other 2,000 people left, go ahead and get the surface.
