What do you carry?? Emoticon
My s&w sigma 9mm is just too big & heavy to carry in my purse. I THINK I want a ruger LC9. I've also considered a ruger LCP .380 but I've held one & even with the finger extender, pretty much only my pointer & middle finger grip it, plus it's so light weight. I know it & the LC9 are both going to be hand cannons, but the LC9 is heavier & the barrel is a bit longer so I feel like I could control it better. I'm a great shot with my current 9mm & my husbands .40 so I'm not worried about control, just holding onto it I guess? All 4 fingers grip the LC9 since it's a little bigger, & I reeeally like that it has a safety & lets you know when there's a bullet in the chamber. But from what I understand, .380's have less recoil & I do like that I can fit a concealed .380 in my pocket or even bra (with a safety holster) whereas the LC9 is a little big for that. (Girls have small pockets, lol). Now I LOVE the sig saur P238 rainbow .380, & all of my fingers actually grip it with the extender, but I like the price of a ruger better than a sig, lol. Suggestions on a concealed gun? Is there a big difference on the recoil from a CCW .380 & a CCW 9mm? I don't want a .22 so don't even ask, lol. I don't want anything with a hammer & am leaning far more towards a pistol than a revolver. Thoughts & opinions would be greatly appreciated. 4951

I carry a Glock 19 most of the time, and a S&W 642 occasionally.  My wife carries a Springfield HD9 sub-compact. 4951

@Sniper12:
And that's comfortable? There isn't a lot of room in there. Lol. And will it fall out when you bend over, the gun, not the boob. 4951

I  carry a Ruger .380.  I like that it's light weight and I haven't had any problems with my fingers gripping it.   But it does jam at the range sometimes.My DH has a Glock 9mm and it never jams.  Wonder if Glock makes a .380?  If you don't have a CHL yet, don't test with a revolver or that will be all you can carry with your liscense.  4951

@N+T:

That law changed Sept. 1st. Whether you take it with a revolver or a pistol, a Texas CHL covers all concealed firearms. No more restrictions on revolvers & CHL's. 4951
