My parents (especially my dad) like to go to Culver’s in
Atascocita usually about once a week for lunch. My dad has Pulmonary Fibrosis
(scarring of the lungs) and is on oxygen 24/7. It’s difficult for him to get
around and so if he gets out and about away from their house it usually takes a
lot out of him by the time he gets back home. If he leaves the house it’s for a
good reason, and to him going to Culver’s is worth it to him. Besides their
hamburgers, he likes the people that run the place because they are always very
friendly to my parents. The owners make a point to stop by their table to
chit-chat with them every time they stop by. My dad hadn’t been feeling too
good lately and my parents haven’t gone to Culver’s in over a month. Last week
the phone rang at my parent’s house and my mom picked it up. The lady on the
other end asked to speak to my mom or dad (asked for them by name). My mom said
it was her speaking. The person said she was the owner of Culver’s and wanted
to make sure everything was alright with my mom and dad because they hadn’t
seen them in a while. My mom was so touched she started crying. She couldn’t
believe a business (especially nowadays) would care so much. To me, this shows
that the owners of Culver’s are not in it strictly for the money. Their
philosophy (and it’s the right way) is if you take care of your customers, the
success won’t be far behind. The same people that own the Atascocita Culver’s
are the ones that are building the one in Kingwood. If you’ve ever had a bad
experience at Culver’s please give them another chance. Your bad encounter was
hopefully just an isolated incident. When my mother told me this I thought it
was one of the best examples of customer care I’ve heard in a long time.
