What kind of apples are good for cooking with pork chops?
I usually buy Fuji to eat. 4951

washington, or granny.  Red delish makes good pies too.  Fuji will fall apart I feel, they aren't dense enough.  Need firm apples. 4951

Those Fuji apples are even delicious baked....So are Granny Smith, Pink Lady's and Honeycrisp.....Just make sure they're fresh / crisp.....Don't use older apples when baking...they just tend to get too soft - almost "mushy"....  Ewwwww....  Mushy apples = Applesauce 4951
