My favorite recipe:Beefy Corn Casserole1 lb. ground beef1 can whole kernel corn, drainedsalt & pepper to taste1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup1 8oz. block of cream cheese1 onion, dicedCook onion and ground beef until they are cooked through. Season with salt & pepper (I usually add other seasonings we like).  Once the meat is cooked through add cream cheese and soup to the pan. Stir until well combined then add in drained corn. Then top with Pillsbury pop & serve biscuits.  Put in the oven following the biscuits directions and cook until the biscuits are golden.  If your pan isn't oven proof then put the stuff in an oven proof pan.  Dinner will be done in less than 30 minutes and you only have to dirty one pan.  We serve it with salad and green beans usually. 4951

I'm not a big fan of ground beef, when I use it it's for chili during the winter or when making queso nachos I'll add it...... Hardly ever eat hamburgers or taco's..... 4951

Bulgoki (Korean Bar B Cue) Burgers
1 lbs ground beef
2 tablespoons sesame oil (optional)
3 tablespoons sugar
3 cloves garlic
3 green onions
salt and pepper to taste
Soy sauce

mix all ingredients together along with a dash or two of soy sauce and form patties. Marinate patties as they are cooking with additional soy sauce.

this recipe is originally for use with thinly sliced sirloin. I adapted it for use with ground beef to make hamburgers.

Top it with some type of Asian style slaw instead of traditional hamburger toppings.

Mmmmm good! 4951

My grandmother used to make what she called Goulash.

Ground beef
Elbow Noodles
Tomato Soup
Mexi-corn
American cheese.

She used to brown and season the meat then add in the mexi-corn, elbows and soup.  Then she would do layers, meat mixture then cheese, then meat mixture then cheese and so on.

We got smart and just mixed it all together in the pot.  It looked the same when you dished it out anyway.  It was actually pretty good. 4951

My aunt fixed us some stuff with ground meat that we loved as kids.  We called it "Aunt Merle's Stuff".   As we got older, we learned that the other name for it was Sloppy Joes. 4951
