I'm a member. I like it and the child care has been good. The ladies in the morning are really nice. They have been really patient & kind with my son who hasn't been left with anyone before. I haven't done any classes or child activities, but have many friends who have and have been pleased. 4951

If you are looking into the after school program. I would NOT reccomend it at all. Prior to this school year we were blessed with a wonderful counselor who was a true "care"giver. The school year we suddenly have a frequent rotation of unprepared and lack experience. My daughter has actually been hurt several times by others. No supervision it seems. I show up and the counselors are on their phones etc. Not paying attention to the children. 4951

I used to be a member of the YMCA. I like thier summer programs.
i quit for several reasons

1. gyms closer, and i was paying for family price, for me to go alone
2. gyms closer I could get in and out quick, no traffic
3. everytime i went to gym with the kids, one kid could not be left alone in a room, because of his age, and there was nothing for him to do.
4. the classes i liked kept changing hours, then to do something with the weights you had to pay extra.

so go and take the free week, and take your kid to see if the hours work

it still amazes me that as big as kingwood is, there are not any other gyms here. Most "private" gyms charge a lot.

we could use a 24 hour fitness,,, or that new place always on tv 4951

You can't hardly beat their offers.  I'm not a member because I can't find my YMCA roadside worker costume.   4951
