We are going to be starting a landscaping project in the near future, and we need to get rid of excess dirt, landscape gravel and plants. Does anyone know where we can get rid of these things? 4951

I thought about them, but the dirt and landscape rock is heavy. I have a 3/4 ton pick up that I can haul it, I just don`t know where we can dump it.   4951

What are you getting rid of? Would be best to grind up the waste and re-use it. 4951

@saltwaterfisherman: you schedule a pick up with Waste Management....it is meant for pick up by them...no, i don't know the specifics of it, but you could ask or check the site link...http://www.thebagster.com/?&gclid=CJrRucXH37kCFQto7Aod-VwAqw

What about a landscape company...maybe they will take it and recycle it to someone else. Also, if you get on Craigslist.org in the Free section and say free dirt/landscaping rocks come load and take it, You might get rid of it. Also, not sure if There is a Freecycle.org for kingwood/houston...but people will come get free stuff from you all day long. 4951

Putting it out there for free really might work. We've gotten rid of two loads of yard rocks just by putting them at the curb with a sign. We've cleaned up the yard a lot and went with a bagster to get rid of it all. 4951

If you need some tilling done as part of your landscaping project, I hear there's some hogs in Woodstream that do a pretty good job for free! 4951

@saltwaterfisherman:    Don't you have a fence?  When you throw things over the fence, it's like magic. They just disappear.  ...get a shovel.

I like the wild hog idea as long as they will take it with them. 4951
