Recasting his role in setting a “red line” on Syria, President Barack Obama insisted on Wednesday that Congress and the world will lose credibility if Bashar Assad’s alleged chemical weapons massacre goes unpunished.“My credibility’s not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line, and America and Congress’ credibility is on the line,” Obama said during a visit to Stockholm, Sweden.LINK 4951

al-Assad:“We are fighting terrorists. 80-90% of those we are fighting belong to al-Qaeda. They are not interested in reform or in politics. The only way to deal with them is to annihilate them,” al-Assad said in the interview.http://dailycaller.com/2013/09/03/assad-obama-is-weak/#ixzz2e2Lo2Ie5Obama's credibility was lost a long time ago IMO.  I am not for al-Assad, but I'm not for al-Qaeda either.  This isn't the United States' fight.  It is theirs. 4951

@FoFa:  He obviously believes if you say it often enough, people will begin to believe you.  He lost all of his credibility soon after he took office.

How can anyone be sure that it was the gov of Syria that used the weapons?  It seems stupid to invite the UN investigators out to check to see if chemical weapons were used and then use them right before they get there.  Then again, I have seen and heard of lots of stupidity in this world. 4951

Let's let them fight it out among themselves.  Don't risk our troops in another country's fight.  Let's keep and spend our money at home.  AND, by the way, this is just Obama "blowing this up" to take attention away from the mess he has made in this country.  4951

Its a sad day when even his liberal support base is distancing himself on this one. Beware folks he wants to drag us and the world into the next world war III. Then don't be suprised when he gets congress to enact an emergency suspension of the presidential term limits due to the war he's wanting to create. 4951

@Retired_Engineer: it is also a diversion that the lame stream media can play up instead of the real issues facing this country...
