I've been going into Citizen Doughnuts because they are close to where I live. They are an OK(?) doughnut shop at a fair price and they have been accommodating with a special pastry we like (chocolate covered cinnamon roll) with no problems. This morning I went in and ordered my usual and they just flat out refused. You see, here in America, we have this concept that the customer is always right. They're NOT that good of a doughnut place to be treated like that. Won't be back!
@Subdriver738: While I agree that a business should always try to meet any "reasonable" customer requests, I don't think the customer is always right. Â I've heard some people make some very unreasonable demands. In your case, if they had the chocolate already melted and all they had to do was dip the cinnamon rolls, that's a reasonable request. Â However, if they had just cleaned the equipment and melted chocolate was not readily available, I can understand their refusal.... but they should have explained WHY. Â
