Started a diet and have had the worst headache for the past two days...uggggg I guess I am being tested.... Part of me things a big juicy burger would make it go away... ha ha 4951
a big juicy burger would not make you fall off your diet as long as it's just the burger. Skip the bread, mayo & cheese , you can have the tomato & lettuce  .Good luck on your diet . I lost 14 lbs. on my diet in 10 days , but as soon as I stopped the diet it all came right back ...sigh. 4951
Make sure too that you are hydrating adequately, which can also help provide a brief filling for the stomach and helping to stave off hunger pangs. Â People tend to freak out when cleaning up their diet (not the same as "going on a diet") and they get a bit hungry. Â It's okay to be a little hungry occasionally - it's part of your body adapting. Â Part of our problem is having so much access to any kind of food that we are used to immediate satiation. 4951
@mm4731: I am on Medifast so I gave up damn near everything... Yes no caffine.... I have been drinking lots of water... And I am eating every two hours.. but is is packaged food that tastes like cardboard.. ha ha   Oh well it is my fault for letting my weight get away from me.... Now I pay the price.. 4951
Are you comfortable with the ingredients and nutritional makeup of the food? Â Good food (read food that is good for you) shouldn't taste like cardboard. 4951
Everyone responds differently to diets but I'm so wary of 'special food' diets. You may be successful but it's doubtful anyone STAYS on these special food diets for the rest of their lives, so the extra weight will undoubtedly come back. I've heard of great results with WeightWatchers, but I think they focus a lot on portion control as well as what you eat. I also think they encourage healthy, home-cooked fresh food with lots of vegetables & fruits. 4951
Maybe you have a headache because your body is detoxing and craving the items you're omitting. Or maybe you are dehydrated. I wouldn't eat anything like a burger. If you feel hungry, try carrots and celery with about 1 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter. I'd also drink plenty of water, even more than you think you should. You could make flavored water if plain water seems boring. There are plenty of good recipes online. My favorite includes mixing cucumber, lemon and mint in a pitcher overnight. 4951
