Pizza is a very inexpensive idea, but people love Chick Fil'A party trays. Get a tray of nuggets and a tray of wraps, along with several sauces. Toss in a few chips and dips as sides and you are good to go.
Along those same lines, you can go to Wing Stop and get a party pack of wings.
Kids might also like the 6-foot Subway subs.
Jason's Deli has great party trays. You could get a combination of wraps and sandwichs, a bowl of fruit and a salad bowl and chips for sides.

Since it has been so hot you could just do meat and cheese... Or you could buy some wooden skewers and put meat and cheese on them... You can also do some skewers with fruit... Makes a pretty presentation.   Good LUck 4951
