Is it ok to have a boat in your driveway overnight, with Homeowners Association? We do have a storage for it, but brought it home this morning to clean it up, but seems like a hassle to take back to storage if we are working on it tomorrow again....any suggestions? 4951

I think you're fine having it there overnight. 4951

Overnight is a lot different from leaving it there for a week or more. 4951

Even if someone complains, the boat will be gone before anyone follows-up. 4951

@REYNITAG: tell your neighbors to shove it, if they complain.

I bring my 30' camper over to the house a day or two before we take it out camping and then leave it for a day or two when we get back to get everything cleaned out of it.  I've never heard a word from the HOA on it.  I even had it at my house for few days over the holidays when family was in for extra sleeping and no one said a word.  Like mentioned above, overnight is different than parked in the yard.  Also, I think the letter you get from the HOA gives you 10 days to repair whatever the deficiency is so it would probably be back in storage long before they'd take any action. 4951
