As some of you know I am new to Tx. So I have to trust people who suggest I use different companies. Well I have been asking around for a good nail place. I was told the Q Nails was a very nice place to go by a woman who manages the shop I have found to get my hair cut at. So I go yesterday to get a pedicure. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I really should of walked out when things started to go wrong but I did not, now I am paying in pain for not!!!!! I have a nerve condition in my feet so either I feel pain very sharply or I do not feel it at all. So the woman doing my toes was pulling on this skin I thought and looked at me like is this okay, well I felt nothing so I did not react. She kept working on it for a while then stopped and moved on. When scrubbing my foot she grabbed a scrubber out of a bag she had tied to the work station. To me it looked like a trash bag. I should of blown up then but not wanting to cause trouble I just sat there. She used it on my foot and a brush that looked like it had seen its last day. At this point I was done! Told her to stop and just paint my toes. Well today the toe that she worked on is all swollen and in great pain! NEVER AGAIN will I go to Q NAIL!!!!! There has got to be a place around here that is clean and not going to break the bank! Help 4951

My advice is to let the nail heal before you even consider another salon. 4951

I have YET to find a nail salon around here that does a better job than I can do myself, AND doesn't treat you like crap. I have high hopes & might try the Aveda Salon at Lifetime Fitness. I met the nail tech the other day & seemed extremely nice. 4951

I am so spoiled.... Back in NE I had a place that was so wonderful!! Very clean and took the time to work on my feet. I have diabetes and neuropathy so it is very important to keep them healthy!

I have been using ocean nails since they opened. Absolutely love them. Accidents happen and getting my nails done I have been nicked but nothing serious. Everyone there is great. 4951

Elegant Nails on Northpark in KW is a good place to go.  They have been in business (in the same location) for over 20 years. 4951

I use to use Ocean Nails which honestly gave me no reason to leave except it was Van's day off. So I tried VIP Nails in Atascocita and have kept going back. The Nail Spot is usually good too. 4951

I used to go to Elegant Nails and then switched to VIP Nails in Atascocita near HEB. Have gone there ever since (probably 3 years now). The pedicures are wonderful! 4951

Don't care for Elegant on Northpark, pricey and not that friendly,  I seem to always go back to Ocean on WLH,  they are always friendly and do a fine job. They are clean and reasonably priced and doesn't take forever there either.
