Ground Sage Sausage, some onion, garlic, mushrooms, jar of ragu. Get it going first.Let it simmer.Heat large amount of water, cook WHOLE GRAIN noodles per instructions.Eat.About the only way the wife likes it.I on the other hand, would leave out the meat, use a lot more mushrooms.Use fettuccine noodles (whole grain) instead.Use a butter olive oil instead of ragu, with some Parmesan cheese.Maybe add some green peas if I feel like it. 4951

Meatballs, Italian Sausage - whole.  Sauce with meat broken up in it is horrible. 4951

I make homemade meatballs in the oven. Ground meat, bread crumbs, and egg and whatever seasonings you want to use. Mix up an roll into balls and put in a casserole dish and cook in the oven. Another thing I do sometimes is cube some mozzarella cheese and put that in the center of the meat before cooking, awesome when you bite into a meatball and cheese is melted inside 😃 4951

I haven't made homemade meat balls in a long time, but my recipe actually calls for dropping them raw into boiling sauce to cook them instead of baking/skillet cooking first. Of course, they simmered in the sauce all day and were fully cooked when served.  I'm not a big meatball person, though.  I prefer no meat w/ my pasta.  Homemade marinara over good pasta, chiffonaded fresh basil, freshly grated parm and a nice glass of cab.  H E A V E N.   Emoticon 4951
