I have some items posted for a couple of days now and no responses? Does it take a long time to sell in the classifieds? 4951

It all depends...most of the things I've posted sold quickly; some never sold.  It's all depending on what it is and the pricing.  I've noticed lately, and there's an old thread here somewhere, that people are asking far too much for their items.  You really have to almost give your stuff away. 4951

I don't even fool with classifieds, garage sales, Craigslist, etc anymore. It ends up being a hassle in one way or another. I usually end up just giving it away. 4951

I am asking for less than half price for items that were barely used. But I guess people want it for "free"

@WskyTngoFxtrt:
I might end up doing that. I will try posting at one other place and see if I have better luck

I noticed most of your items are baby items.  Are you in this group on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/296248970467377/Most of the exchange on there is for baby items.   Things seem to move pretty quickly.  If you arn't in the group and want to be I can invite you so you can start listing there. 4951

@WskyTngoFxtrt:  I used to be a daily lurker on the classifieds but no longer.  I've found many great deals in the past but I rarely see anything that's worth pursuing.  I DID, however, find a guitar for my son!  (on the 'other' site...Emoticon ), which he checked out and said is a good deal.  So...it all depends.  I won't even consider Craigslist, though.  Lots of weirdos on there!

@Love2Run: I've never bought anything on Cragslist before. I did sell my '86 MR2 on there. I sold it 30 minutes after I listed it and the guy came and paid cash. I got lucky because you're right, too many weirdos. My one and only experience with Craigslist was a huge success.
