Do they make a decent one in that price range?  Just need it for odd jobs around the house.Mostly want one that is easy to find a replacement battery when needed. 4951

I'm partial to this skil drill, but that's just because I found it on markdown for $40 at Lowes.http://www.amazon.com/2415-01-12-Volt-8-Inch-Variable-Driver/dp/B005JRJCU8/ref=sr_1_30?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1373466126&sr=1-30&keywords=skil+cordlessFor general housework, you don't necessarily NEED 14-18volt. I like one that's lithium ion, small, and light weight. Try to stay away from NiCad batteries if you can. 4951

@derp: why stay away from NiCad batteries....??? lithium is the new beast at 3 times the price.i'll wait for the prices to drop before moving to lipos. but then I could always replace the nicad's in my drill with the lipos and replace the charger for half the price. 4951

@PedroDePacas: pawn shops are the worst place to get tools.
they try to sell you used crap at 20% off of what you would get at the store.go north to the mexican flea market. you can find used drills there for 50 to 75% of what you would find in any pawn shop. they will test it for you too. I bought a heavy duty drill there about a year ago, he tested it for me, and it sounded like new. got it for 25 bucks, the drill retailed for over 90. 4951

@elguapo: Not really, I have been down that road.  Nicad is dead.  LI for long term use is the way to go. 4951
