Ours was very simple. It was just me and my husband in Pensacola for about 4 days. The beach wasn't crowded at all. We sat in the sand, got drunk, and just spent the whole time relaxing on the beach. 4951

I used to go to Hot Springs, Arkansas pretty often for spa weekends.  The spa weekend schedule goes something like this:  breakfast buffet at the Majestic Hotel (it's closed now, unfortunately) a little light shopping and walking.. followed by some serious lounging, then a snack at a coffee shop, full body massage, nap time, bath house with "The works" which is a hot springs mineral bath, a loofa scrub down by the bath attendant, ice packs and heat packs, a shower with many many water points tickling the skin, and then a Swedish massage... then back to the luxurious room to lay around in a daze... and then dinner at one of the fine restaurants... and a restful night..  rinse, repeat.  All weekend long.  Maybe switch it up one of the days by throwing in a facial and/or some reflexology..  That's a relaxing weekend. You come home all worked out and no trigger points left.Eureka Springs, Arkansas is also a great place to go.  Especially in Autumn.  The leaves turn mostly red up there in early November and it's an artists colony, so there are many galleries and artists around.  It's very hilly and reminds me of Germany where I lived as a young girl. There's a big haunted hotel called "The Crescent" and it has ghost tours.  Fun.  Shopping, food, foliage, art, spa treatments, and there are many great bed and breakfasts there.  It's a great place to visit.  4951

I would say a cruise, a all-inclusive hotel on a beach, or a hotel resort.  Basically somewhere you don't do anything but enjoy.  4951

@TexasTideFan, Dolphin Island is in Alabama.   Just off the point of Mobile I believe.

@Fallon:  I had a feeling that was where you were talking about, but it's Dauphin Island.  Lower Alabama (otherwise known as LA)=God's Country.  Next time you are down there, check out Fairhope.  It's a cool little town with some good grub.  Orange Beach is nice when the Mullett Toss is at FloraBama.
