>> I halfway understand it. It sucks but how does the employer know he is starting over and not continuing bad decisions. 5 years is enough time to have begun rebuilding. Maybe the employer knows more than we do. I know I would not hire someone who is handling my cash who couldn't handle their own. Who knows if they will be desperate enough to take some.
It sucks but that is where we live now. Our entire lives are out there to be scrutinized.
@BooBear: I see what your seeing BooBear but those days were really bad. I was lucky enough to sell my house after the divorce but could of been me. Many moons ago they never looked at that and it was just fine. I have breast cancer so there are some medical on mine.....It no way reflects my ability or honesty on the job
@Ann2800: I would hope employers would take in the whole picture. Some won't. Like I said it sucks.
I would NEVER hire someone to drive for me if they have a DUI or a bad driving record. They can tell me they won't do it again but how do I KNOW?
