HELP!! I'm changing my scentsy burners & I turn them on for a couple of minutes first to make it easier to get the hard wax out. Well when I took it out, some of the wax had actually liquified & popped up & got all over the top I'm wearing! It's one of my favorite tops! I was wondering if anyone has any methods that actually work for getting wax out of clothes? It's a solid black top if it matters. Thanks in advance! 4951

Scrape off as much as you can.  Then put a paper towel over the spots and iron over it to absorb the rest into the paper.  If the wax has oil in it, use Dawn after all of the wax is out of the fabric. 4951

I've used the freezer method only on glass, and it works well. I would  try it on a shirt!  At least it won't ruin it. When you take the shirt out of the freezer I would try to just left it off. 4951

After reading another thread where there was a bit to much TMI for me, I wasn't expecting you to have gotten wax on you by way of candle burners.  LOL.   4951

Scraping and then the iron is really the best.  Just use an old towel that you can discard cause it will get all the wax on it.

Do as @mamajulie and seriouslyo?erbooked suggest. My wife did that for our son a couple of years ago on a black pair of dress pants and it worked great. It was on prom or homecoming night (I don't remember) and right before he was leaving he knocked over a candle and the wax spilled onto his pants. Needless to say, there was a mad dash to clean it off! Good luck! 4951
