Kayla is a Chihuahua mix puppy, just a tiny little thing, she weighs a
mere 6 lbs. Both of Kayla's back legs are broken - that's a total of
seven broken bones and surely unimaginable pain. But how did this
happen? Her x-ray showed the breaks are in exactly the same place on
each leg so we know she was not hit by a car. If she had been hit by a
car her hips would likely have been injured as well. The vet believes
that she was probably dropped from a high distance and landed on her
back legs. Who could do such a cruel thing? Or was she accidentally
dropped? Kayla was brought in as a stray by a concerned citizen so we
may will never know the truth. What we do know is that treatment by an
orthopedic surgeon is required to fix her legs. He believes she will
heal nicely since she is young, only around 3 months old. The estimated
cost is approximately $3,000. Kayla deserves this surgery - and
the love and safety she will have in a wonderful new home. She is now
in foster care and her foster mom says she is a sweet baby who never
cries. Despite the pain she must feel she still wags her tail non-stop.
Help us get Kayla the medical care she needs so that she can be ready
when her forever home comes along.    Please donate below or mail checks made out to "MCASociety" to PO Box 130448, Spring, TX 77393.here is the link:http://www.mcaspets.org/2/post/2013/05/did-someone-drop-this-puppy-and-leave-her-to-die.html 4951

@Okiedokie Poor thing! Maybe something happened to her spine and it's cutting off the nerves to the legs and she isn't feeling anything in her legs?? Did they do a nerve test on her back legs? It would be a shame to put ther through the procedure to fix the legs if they would end up being lame afterwards. She is a little doll baby!! i hope she heals. 4951
