I might be hooked on it, simply cooked then add a flavorful gravy, but not too much.    Anyone else have any good recipes? 4951

I have a salad recipe for it that is really good.  I haven't made it just plain I have been trying to figure out other ways.  I thought maybe a little olive oil and parm. 4951

I love making Quiona with chicken broth. Then, in a skillet sautee up spinach (a whole bag), craisins and chicken. Add in the cooked quiona and season with salt and pepper. It's soooooo good!!!
That is one of my fav recipes, but I always keep a cup or two cooked in the fridge to just add on top of other recipes I'm making. I use the rice cooker to make it. The directions say 1 to 2... but I always do for example 1 cup of quinoa and a little over 2 cups of water or broth. It's perfect.

@KTownTexican:  I assume it's a gas grill?  If so, the lava stones (or whatever your grill has) hasn't gotten cured yet.  Cook something greasy (like fatty burgers) and the dripping fat will seep into the stones, helping cure them.

I use to make the box Quinoa but now the DW isn't suppose to have it.  If wheat is an issue, so is it.  We liked the olive oil and Parmesan. 4951

Boil it in chicken broth.. the red quinoa.  Then add small tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, and some green and red pepper.  You can also add some black beans if you would like. 4951
