Do the Mediterranean restaurants serve roasted cauliflower or is it stir fried? I have a whole head stinking up my fridge and I want to cook it like they do. 4951

I don't know what the mediterranean restaurants do but rosted cauliflower is yummy.  Roasting makes just about any veggie better.  4951

@N+T:

Came out so nice. I first dropped the cauliflower in hot water then drained it and coated with olive oil, salt and garlic powder. Put it in a baking dish in a hot oven. The oils kind of fried it on the outside. Turning it brown and carmelized. 4951

I like my cauliflower and broccoli either raw or just lightly cooked.  My dad had a large garden when we were growing up and that's where most of our vegetables came from.  However, he never planted any cauliflower, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, or asparagus.   I learned to like them later in life.The key to cooking these vegetables (as well as cabbage) is to not overcook them..... 'cause they start to stink when cooked too long.  My dad did grow cabbage and I hated it because they cooked it way too long. 4951

Yum. Veggies roasted with garlic and olive oil. Rosemary is also good to add on root vegetables. 4951

Roasted cauliflower is very popular in paleo diets. I have friends that make pizza with a roasted cauliflower crust instead of bread. It looks good.

@lola I made the same thing last night!  I love it, I have been on a roasted broccolli kick and decided to try the cauliflower.  I actually liked it better!  4951
