(Red) Zinfandel, especially RavenswoodMerlotDepends on the food I guess. If you've never had zinfandel, you're really missing out. Don't let "white" zinfandel fool you - the red (original) version is very bold and goes great with spicy food.
@mgw300e: That is one of my favs too. When i lived near Napa California i went to the Ravenswood winery in Sonoma and did a sampling. Good stuff. Can't go wrong with anything by Ravenswood.
