has really **** me off! Now after 3 refills of ongoing RX's you have to get your doctor to write 90+ RX's, mail or fax to them, and then they will mail your med's to you. Augh...what an ordeal. Have to wait 7-10 days to get them after they receive it...I'm going to run out of meds before they can get them mailed to me!!!Who uses snail mail anymore anyway??? Emoticon I'd rather go to my local pharmacy!!! 4951

@bearae:

I have them too. Just call and say you'll run out and they'll do a one time override. They have for me a couple times. 4951

I have them and I do go to my local pharmacy. It's a lot less stressful than dealing with Express Scripts.

Be sure and make copies of your prescriptions before you mail them. They've lost mine three separate times, claimed they never received them. I think they put them on someone elses record. 4951

@QueenB: I've been going to Walgreens for years now. But ES just changed ours and after 3 refills will no longer pay unless it is mailed in. The pharmacy is now supposed to be used for filling non long term prescriptions.

Currently waiting for medicine from ES right now for the exact same reason. I was able to get the 4th one at CVS but it was much more expensive than what I had paid for 1-3. 4951

Be careful with them!  One time our meds never arrived.  We called them and they stated that they would resend them.  In the meantime, we went to Walgreens and got the prescription filled becasue my husband was completely out of his diabetic meds.  Come to find out ES billed us for the scripts that we never recieved AND the replacements, plus we had to pay cash for the walgreens ones to tide us over.  We eneded up getting over $600 worth of bills for a two 90 day scripts.  We paid the legitamite ones but refused to pay for the shippment we did not recveive.  They ened up sending us to collections and we are still getting calls from agencies years later.  According to them they can not prove we DID NOT recieve it.  According to us the package was never received and delivery was not signed for so there is no proof we DID receive it.  Told them if they wanted their money they needed to start shipping things with signature required!  Still, this is an issue that will not go away and is now showing up on our creidt report!  4951

Wow!  I've been using ES for a few years now with absolutely no problems.  And I actually LIKE getting them in the mail and not having to go to the pharmacy.  But now you guys have me worried. 4951

My company switched from ES to CareMark this year and we use CVS the same as CareMark (I think they are owned by the same company).So we don't have them mailed any longer except for for DW's MS medication.But the cost has dropped also. A LOT cheaper out of pocket. 4951

We pay an extra co pay so we don't have to use Express Scripts or any mail scripts.  We tried them for a year and they messed up every order.  They sent us the wrong medicine twice also. 4951

I always worried about medicine being out in the heat, some medicine has to stay at a certain temperature. My schnauzer had cushing and had to have her meds. sent by mail and we always had to sign for them because they could not be in the heat. If you are not home when the mail comes how long does it stay in the heat, and does it affect it? 4951

@YvetteLara: My DW's MS meds come in a foam box with cooling packs in it.
It can sit out all day in the summer and still be cold. 4951

Guess I am lucky to be a vet. I get all mine mailed from the VA here in Houston and it is $8 for 30 day supply but they ship in 90 day quantities. No problems in the last 15 years. 4951
