Booted the soon to be ex 6 months ago.  Settled all issues through mediation and it’s just a matter of getting the final decree drafted and filed.  All this time I have kept her as a friend on Facebook.  I rarely every post on Facebook and rarely look at Facebook.  I did post one message a few weeks back which had nothing to do with her.  This week she threw my post back into my face because she thinks all things revolve around her.
Is it time to cut the Facebook ties?  I thought this would be an easy decision, but I find that I am having a hard time with it.
What’s your opinion?  4951

I would cut it until further notice. Let both of you get some time and distance. You don't need to know about what each other does when the kids are gone. 4951

I'd ask why you're having a tough time with the decision?  4951

@BEVO :

Do what I did. Delete the ex. Then start a new fb page and hand - pick the friends otherwise she will have spies amongst your friends. After a while, it sorta solves itself. 4951

@BEVO: yeah, that's a tough realization.  Been there myself.  But if it's inevitable, I found it easier not to see 'reminders' when I did log into FB.  Plus, it's too easy to lurk around, making yourself crazy being curious about what they're up to and who they're hanging out with.  Easier to sever those social media ties that cause bad feelings.  Good luck and maybe the worst is behind you!

@mm4731:
It was actually Facebook that started the end to our marriage!  4951
