No such thing as a successful diet @topcat, use it to get where you want to go then it's a lifestyle change.....And the success comes from you, not the diet Emoticon and keep up the good work Emoticon 4951

I use FatSecret.com by Calorie Counter, a very similar app. I've lost 60 since last Spring and I love it. I use My Fitness Pal a lot for reference when I need stats on something not listed in my app.

You will love it. Congrats on your loss! 4951

@Zokomko You do track calories on it.  You enter your current wt, goal wt, activity level and how much you want to lose per week. I put 1 pound/week. It gives me 1350 calories a day. It has a place to track meals and snacks. You can put in anything like "Weight watchers chicken enchiladas" and it pulls up all the nutrition info, deducts it from your day, and shows you what you have left. Being an expert dieter, and even working professionally in the weight loss industry, I know what the best choices are and have been sticking to them. I like it because you can have an occasional glass of wine, or bday cake for example, as long as you keep track of it. @ruk72 This tool helps make that lifestyle change easier! I have no desire at all to eat ANY junk food now that I am making progressEmoticon 4951

What I have learned over the last year is to not restrict certain foods 100%. You will come to a point where you start to crave certain things or be in a situation where healthy options are not available. When that happens, have a small amount or try to make it as healthy as possible. Allow for it and plan the rest of your day around it. That way, you are simply eating healthy and that is an easier lifestyle to maintain long term, with lots of flexibility. Diets and dieting are short term and are restrictive and no one wants to live with "no" all the time. If you have ice cream or a burger, you haven't messed up or blown it. You had a favorite food, guilt free, and there's no diet to have to restart. 4951

@Nicole4647: good to know you are at the Verizon in Cleveland. I work up that way and if ever have difficulty with my phone up there, I usually go to that location.
