Darn, posted twice. I'm a little rusty. Anyway is it commonplace to give little ones soda? We didn't allow our boys to have soda until they were 6. Now pretty limited.
@Retired_Engineer thanks. I got put in timeout for a week (even though the other person got to carry on, I guess I know which way the moderator leans) then out on a biz trip.
@TexINS:
I'm not disagreeing with you that children should not consume large amounts of caffeine, but as a Mom there are always those circumstances that you just have to make due. As a mom a would rather my child take a drink of soda then be suffering from thirst. On the flip side if you personally know someone and its a habit of there's, if you feel compelled then sure. Don't judge something that has so many unanswered questions. When you see something like this just purchase a bottle of water, tell the mom I just got this but its the wrong one and ask if the child can have it. Maybe if she notices the seal is not broken she would a cept, I don't know if I would take it or not, but again...uncertainty. 4951
