I am so tired of the pups  (3 1/2 yrs) eating things when we leave.  The last time was the shock collar clasp. This time was the controller. I don't have a clue where they got it from either.  I guess I should have been using it on them instead of just threatening.   4951

I wish mine would go in a kennel. They are not destructive but the are soooo clingy. I am on sofa right now and all 3 are on me. 4951

I should have left them in the kennel but I just hate keeping them locked up.  When I pulled it out and was still yelling, they went and sat in it and looked at me. 4951

@mogopups I think about that too, but then I remember that they just lay around and sleep all day anyway. I leave lots of stuff to chew on and cuddle with so they are comfortable. Then I make up for it with extra luvins in the eveningsEmoticon 4951

I have not used the kennel in years but i think my two would enjoy it if i left it available for them.  They love anything to lay on or in that has a comfy blanket in it.  I am constantly have to keep them off the baby blankets.  I gave mine to my sister a couple years ago, she needed it much more than i did.  It takes up a lot of space.  4951

I just put mine away today! I haven't used it in a couple months so I think we're ok. Colt was the only one I was crating, but Zora is the one that chews stuff up! She got hold of a plate with strawberry tops just the other day. 4951

@mogopups: Don't think of it as punishment. It's peace of mind...it's worth it.  You are keeping them out of trouble.  Just think of the vet bill you might have if one ate a battery or something sharp.  You're a good mom.

They seem to not eat the battery they pulled out.... I can't imagine they haven't ingested some sharp plastic pieces.  I guess I am lucky, Or is that why Penny gives me a sad look some times. 4951

We leave Bree's out all the time (but hers does take up some serious room) and she barely fits, but still likes to lay in it. 4951

All of mine are crated-no options.  They wait in the a.m. to go in their crates because they know they will get cookies. 4951
