Going to start calling people out. In this session, age=&vpage=0" target=_blank rel="nofollow">I'd like to take this thread. In it @TexINS claims, by proxy of an annoying graphic, "Taxes have increased on the average family by $1,600." That's not true. Taxes have not increased on the average family by $1,600. And, if they did -- that wouldn't be Obama's fault. And, here is the nonsense graphic:Loading Image... 4951

Nice thread @EvanCarroll, if you were a moral, upstanding and honest person I might be worried Anyway  Here is the link finance.yahoo.com/ne ws/white-house-famil ies-taxes-could-1002 55025.html I can post numbers all day long demonstrating the Kenesyian's failed economic policies. But I do work. One just needs to look at the price of gas and food. One just needs to look at the number of people using lone star cards. One just needs to look at Lone Star college (to see the adults hiding from reality), One just needs to go into the local social security administration office and see all the people applying for SSI. To see how bad it is.The social programs are masking his failures. If they did not exist today's news footage would make the news footage of the depression comical.Evan get a grip, get real and get a life...loser. 4951

@TexINS No, that's not a source, that's a would warning of what inaction would do.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A standoff with Congress that results in the January expiration of wide-ranging tax cuts would mean 114 million families would see average tax increases of $1,600 next year, the White House says.
If Congress didn't act, that would have happened. CONGRESS DID ACT. You're living in a world that doesn't exist when you say taxes went up on the average family by $1,600. 4951

Here's another one @EvanCarroll www.washingtontimes. com/news/2013/jan/6/ obama-supporters-sho cked-angry-new- regarding the tax holiday that expired, raising taxes on everyone (except you, because you don't make any money)2nd to last paragraph"But in fact, it was Mr. Obama who enacted the “holiday,” and, to be clear, the tax cut that he pushed throughout the campaign — remember? 98 percent of Americans will get a cut under his plan? — was really the extension of the Bush tax suts. Thus, it was Mr. Obama who raised taxes on millions of Americans, not Mr. Bush. How many Americans? The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center in Washington put the total at 77.1 percent of all wage earners. In fact, “More than 80 percent of households with incomes between $50,000 and $200,000 would pay higher taxes. Among the households facing higher taxes, the average increase would be $1,635, the policy center said,” according to a Bloomberg News article. Hilariously, the tax burden will rise more for someone making $30,000 a year (1.7 percent) than it does for someone earning $500,000 annually (1.3 percent).A whole new wave of Obama supporters still don’t even know: They’ll get their first 2013 paychecks on the 15th of the month. So when you’re shooting the breeze in the lunchroom with your grumbling co-workers on the 16th, just ask them, “Who’d you vote for in November?” When they say Mr. Obama, just tell them: “Well, you got what you voted for. You did know he was going to raise taxes, right?”The looks on their faces will be priceless" 4951

@TexINS I repeat the average family IS NOT paying $1,600 more in taxes. Bush passed a tax cut that disproportionately went to the rich, however the average American family got something from it. The cuts to the rich were disputed, and the Democrats did not want to extend them. The House, which must originate revenue legislation, is controlled by the GOP. The GOP would not extend just the tax cuts for the average American. They wanted the cuts for the super-rich. That was the dispute. However, the Democrats capitulated -- like they always do. They extended the tax cuts for everyone making less than $400,000. Not just for those making under $250,000. Either of these upper caps to the Bush tax cuts would EXCLUDE the average American family.Again, here is your quote,
More than 80 percent of households with incomes between $50,000 and $200,000 would pay higher taxes. Among the households facing higher taxes, the average increase would be $1,635,
WOULD BE that means, if action wasn't taken by Congress: and, it was. You're living in a world that doesn't exist. 4951

@EvanCarroll The article was written in January. The writer of the article is saying that with Obama's tax increase people making between $50k and $200k in will be paying 1,600 more in taxes this year. So again you are wrong.  Just like everyting you believe or not believe in..Wrong. By the way, What is it with you and always getiing upset with wealthy people. Here's a little secret: life isn't fair. You are wasting your time and efforts about who's getting over on who. Just take care of yourself and you might be little less bitter and you might actually like this great country of ours.  4951

@Fallon that is what people like @EvanCarroll want. They think that if everyone is a miserable as they are, they will be happy. It's twisted and demented. Thse are the people who pushed communism through in Russia or given Hitler and Nasi's power in Germany. 4951
