@N+T do you budget at all? We use Dave Ramsey's ideas for money management. For example always paying everything with cash (especially the grocery store). 4951

I know the feeling. After paying bills and grocery shopping it leaves me broke and I only get paid twice a month. 4951

Last year we put away a little every month for Christmas shopping. We still went a little over budget, but didn't hurt as much when we received the CC bills this month. 4951

yep, that holiday hangover can last about a month or so if you dont plan ahead.

Best thing to do is just put away during the spring and summer months and that will help ease the pain a bit. Then you can enjoy the holidays a bit more. 4951

we learned along time ago to always "pay your self 1st", just put a few dollars away every pay day & do not touch it EVER , by the end of the 1st year it will look pretty sad , but then by the 2nd & 3rd years it starts to build interest & looks pretty good . The key is not to touch your little savings & pretty soon it will become something that you are proud of & that you do not want to touch ....been doing this since I was 38 & I'm almost 70 ...it works if you only stick to it . 4951
