I work for a natural gas company and we used to have a huge fleet of gas/natural gas vehicles.

We don't have them anymore. Take that for what it's worth.... Emoticon 4951

www.parkway249.com/N atural_Gas_Vehicles Many auto repair shops won't do it because it will raise their insurance premiums. I think you loose trunk space when you convert to NG. You should also ask to get a pump installed at your house. Good luck. 4951

I don't know the exact details, but they were just having a lot ofi issues. The guys stopped using the CNG, and kept switched over to the gasoline.

They eventually stripped the tanks and conversions out of the vehicles and dug up all the fill stations and lines from our plants.

That was years ago, so the technology has improved, I'm sure. 4951

Years ago we converted a mini-bike to run off of propane. We just needed to swap the carburetor out for one that had a regulator and different throttle control (gas instead of liquid).Ran pretty good, didn't carbon up.Only issue was getting the 20 pound propane tank refilled.Cost more than gas back then. The exhaust smelled kind of nice also. 4951
