Going out of town for a few days and need to find a good/safe place for my 5 month old golden girl to stay. Any suggestions between Kingwood and IAH? 4951

Do you want to board her or do you want a pet sitter? 4951

@bearae:
I've heard mixed reviews about them, I suggest another kennel--Holiday Kennels in Porter was where my (drooly and annoying) retriever went once, and it was a good choice. 4951

I second Holiday Kennels! They are on the premise 24/7. 4951

Does your vet do boarding also?  Ours does, and I feel safest leaving them there since all their records are kept right on the premises and their doctor is there also.

@SandyKnee:

Just when you think the vet is the safest place...

I also would not board a young puppy at a vet clinic because dogs with diseases go there and an immune compromised pup is at risk. 4951

If u can't find anywhere I could watch the little one! I already have a golden so it might be good for both our dogs. 4951

@mpjp0907: Thank you so much, that is so sweet of you to offer. I am calling Holliday Kennel so let's see how it goes, fingers crossed...
