It's like any other bumper sticker, magnet or decal. It is about showing your interests, not about self esteem issues. Training for and running in a marathon takes time and effort and if someone is proud of that and wants a sticker on their car, good for them! It beats sitting on the couch watching Jersey Shore.

Very true. I've never really liked running, and the most I could ever run without a break was 5 miles. I run about 2 miles (on an incline) a day on the treadmill, and that kicks my ***. I do it because I feel like I have to, not because I like it.  I don't think I could ever do a half marathon, so yeah, I give props to those that do. As long as those people that have those stickers actually really do the marathon, and aren't just trying to make people think they do!There are a lot of posers out there! 4951
