You can also bake it in the oven.  Preheat to 400 degrees, lay bacon in a single layer on a baking sheet, bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.  Dry on paper towels and enjoy!  Emoticon

I am lazy. I get the per-cooked bacon at Sam's. And just heat in the microwave. 30 seconds to bacon heaven. I heat up a strip for the doggies too. Emoticon 4951

@Wooderson: I have something worse than that for ya, we only eat turkey bacon. Does that even count as bacon??  I have learned that Jenny O does not microwave well.  Some gets burnt while other parts stay raw.

I do have to say that I have cooked bacon in the microwave....just does not taste as good as bacon cooked in a skillet...   Emoticon  When I make bacon in a skillet, I save the grease and give my doggies a little treat over their food that night.    (with 4 dogs, they don't get that much grease each...but they do love it!)Bacon is good either way though!!  Oh, and I don't like it "overly" crispy either...... that belongs on salads or a baked potato as bacon bits...  Emoticon 4951

Bacon abuse! Pan fried or over fried, never in a microwave and never turkey bacon. If you're gonna eat it, do it right. 4951
