Hey everyone! My husband & I are relocating to Kingwood in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions on a good vet for our dogs. We have a two year old Yorkie & a one year old Lab. Any advice would be great!! Thanks! 4951

494 vet hosp is the best I have been to. I tried 4 or 5 different vets over the years, and I have to say they have been by far the best for wait times, cleanliness, cost, friendliness and skill. 4951

@xjamiex:

I have had long wait times there lately and they forgot to call me with heartworm and fecal results. I stopped by 5 days later to get the results.
On a positive note the ditsy lady at the front desk isn't there anymore. 4951

@xjamiex: We took our pup to Lonestar 6 months ago and was impressed by the Vet. The lady at the front counter was extremely ditzy and slow as molasses. She needed to be replaced imho. 4951

Veterans Memorial Animal Hospital, Dr. Knapp. They are off the Beltway & Veterans Memorial, but worth the drive. They are the best vets around.

My yellow lab is 14 1/2, she is doing amazingly well. She gets acupuncture & laser treatments as needed. They have the best staff around. 281-440-4441 4951

Dr Bryant, at Lonestar, WILL without any question be my next vet when I get a pup....I have not used him for care yet but any vet that will take time to come to my house, with less than a days notice, to put my dog down, without costing me an arm and a leg when they have never met me, in the comfort of our home, will without a doubt get a good review from me. Bedside manners and caring Emoticonersonality cant get better than his. 4951

Soap I haven't used him before, because my dog was extremely old and we moved from Willis Texas over a year ago and had kinda just used whoever whenever needed, but I like when you get a pup you get a good repore going with the same vet. When he did what he did for us I told him I WILL be seeing you again soon.....LOL His wife I believe was with him, I thought it was just a tech but found out it was his wife....they were so nice at what was one of out hardest moments ever! 4951

You might want to seriously consider the vets who are outside of Kingwood a bit, cheaper and just as good. KW vets charge premium prices but most are good, it's an affordibility issue.. 4951
