We ordered from Papa King Pizza tonight and really like their food, or at least used to.   Still love their pizza, but unfortunately they have changed their wings.  Not sure why they changed and it is a shame!   I can only describe the new wings as although cooked, looked as though they were only lightly pre-fried, then reheated, and finally splattered with hot sauce ... yuck!   When I called to ask,  I was clearly unhappy about what we received, but don't think the employee on the other end really cared as I was told only that they had in fact switched their wing... clipped is more like it....  so sad!  Looks like it's back to Sarpinos,  apa Johns, or Pizza Hut!  REALLY wish J. Christophers had wings, then we'd be set!!!

The original owner of Papa King sold the restaurant about 3 months ago. Its gone downhill fast since then. Such a shame too because their food used to be amazing!!!

New owners have taken over, and they are sort of at an inbetween stage right now.

They are getting their equipment set up, and then there should be some fairly major changes.

It wouldn't hurt to go by or call and and ask to speak to the manager.  I think the new group will be successful, but it is going to take them some time to get everything up and running.

J. Christophers, is the only place to order a steak sandwich... There fries atleast to me should be cooked more..

I tried that philly cheese steak place once... And to be honest, i found it to be a ruse... And way over priced..

but agree, J. Christophers would propbably do well on wings.

We have ordered from there in the last month to month 1/2 and all was good.... seems more like cutting costs than equipment issues to me.... again, such a shame!!

I liked going there prior to them selling. As per staff they were bought by an investment company who also will soon be changing the name.

I really liked the owners prior and tooth great food and supporting a local business gas much to do with why I went.

Haven't had a bad experience thus far but of so I may rethink my loyalties!

It will be a franchise that is coming.  I can't really say more, not sure if they want the information out yet or not.

But until they get their equipment brought in and can start using their recipes, things are in flux.

Give them a chance once they get their new name up, by then their equipment will be here and they can start using their recipes
