Our peach faced lovebird got out this afternoon so please let us know if you find her. Her name is chirpy.

We live in south woodland hills but she can cover long distances. I don't think she stands a chance in this heat with the hawks but it's worth a shot.

Mine isn't. She is really friendly. I've got two kids that handle her all the time.

How does one recover a lost bird? "Let me know if you see my bird" That seems nearly an impossible request.

"Have you seen my lion"
"Have you seen my dog"

That's possible. A bird?

I have a client who's bird got loose & somebody found it. She put signs everywhere, & one day the bird landed on a teachers shoulder while she was outside for recess. Luckily she had seen the sign, so she took him inside & put him in a shoe box till the owner could be reached. Not a common story, but it can happen!

She could land on someone at any time. She's tame. I would understand someone not knowing what a lovebird looks like. That's why I said she was green with a peach face.....or you could always google it. It's pretty simple actually.

She didn't come back to her cage last night so someone could still see her.

I'm not sure how many people have lost lovebirds lately but I'm pretty sure if someone finds her it would be obvious she was mine. The lovebirds aren't a natural bird in this region. Plus she's bonded to me so she would come right to me if inside a house. I also have her cage and know her tricks.
