This is a question for both guys and gals.The first time you meet someone of the opposite sex, what do you look at first?For me, in almost every case, I look first at the face to see if they are smiling and/or relaxed.  Next would be the eyes.  Over the years, I've learned that the eyes (and their expressions) can tell you a lot.Now I will admit, if a woman is busty and is proudly displaying it, I will sneak a look. 4951

I do the same as you @Retired_Engineer . Face & smile/ expression first. Other than that, the only other thing I will really "check out" is tattoos if they have them.  4951

@Retired_Engineer:

Since I know you're not a perv, you only look at the rack for enginering purposes, like what size bedonkidonk must a woman have in order to support the rack and walk upright. 4951

@Francita:  That's exactly right.  I try to estimate the center of gravity so that I can determine her tipping point.  Also, I'm fascinated by how much stress some bra's can take.  The tensile strength of those straps are amazing.    Emoticon   Then I try to figure out what kind of noise I could make motor-boating those puppies..... Wait, I was supposed to erase that part!

First is height.  He has to be taller than me.  can't date a shorty.

Then teeth.  i  won't date a man with a jacked up grill.

@TreHawks: Oh if it was someone I was interested in, back in the day height was a major factor for me. I'm only 5'5" so it doesn't take much to be taller than me, but 6'+ is sooo sexy imo. DH is 6'3" Emoticon Now days just meeting someone of the opposite sex though, I'm not looking to be "interested" so I don't care what they look like or how tall they are. I just naturally notice faces/ expressions.

I checked  out the face to see what their expression was , then next is how well they are groomed ( clean nails & hair , etc) then clothing , if they did  not care about grooming then I did not want "date them " . I was always told by my dad , if a guy dosen't care enough to clean up & be at his best when meeting you for the 1st time he isn't worth your time.

Guess that stuck in my mind  & still does to this day , except  I'm married & do not date now (LOL) . 4951

@WJo makes a good point.  When you are dating and checking out a "prospective" mate, you tend to be a lot more observant.  Once you're in a commitment/married, the focus seems to shift to "am I going to like this person" or "will he/she be a friend" or even "can I tolerate this person for a few minutes?"  4951
