There is a leak under my kitchen sink when I run the dishwasher or disposal. I need a plumber. Any recommendations? 4951

i would try just a handyman. cheaper and you just need someone with basic knowledge to fix a simple leak. 4951

We've had good luck with AAAction Plumbing. They sometimes have coupons in the phone book. 4951

Sounds like an easy fix. Don't be scared, get in there and fix it. Do a search or take a pic and bring it to that plumbing store in humble. They gave me good advice last year and I was able to take care of it. It sounds like the drain line that runs from your dishwasher to the disposal. It may just need to be tightend, you never know...   4951

@salth2o: Thanks!  Kenneth was real nice.  20 minutes of work and $65 later my sink isn't  leaking anymore.  The screws were loose and it needed plumbers putty.  Simple fix but saved me from having to crawl under the sink at 8 months pregnant.

I told my DH when he retires maybe he should become a plumber.  He already has the plumbers butt crack mastered. Emoticon  4951

I always call Kenneth's first.  Second choice is Alpha Omega. Both are excellent and reasonable. 4951

Agree, Alpha Omega is pretty good. I used them for a couple of big projects. They did very professional work and explained in depth what I needed. 4951
