Trying to help a coworker. She had a dog that has gotten too big for her yard and is a little aggressive toward her other two dogs. She thought she had found the perfect home for her but the new owners called and said she must take Abby back or they will take hervto SPCA to be put down. She was too aggressive around their small children and other dogs. My friend's husband doesnt want Abby backcause they already have two other dogs. Any help out there please?

What kind of dog? Unfortunately when people get dogs as lawn ornaments they can have behavioral problems due to lack of training, socialization, and isolation. It sucks that your co-worker pretty much sealed this dog's fate.

She is a lab mix and very affectionate with adults but needs to be an only dog with adults. Please dont be rough on my coworker. Her husband is the one that brought the dog home as a puppy and since the dog has gotten bigger than what he expected he is pretty much sitting back and telling my coworker not to bring the dog back home. My coworker is heartsick over this because she grew attached to Abby and knows what a great pet she would be to the right home. Its her husband that i fault!

Tell her to contact all the all breed rescues in Houston. Google "Lana Hughes animal house" on her website is a huge list of local rescues. If they have to take her to a shelter then montgomery county would be the kindest, they really try to get the animals out before euthanizing.

Have you considered a dog trainer, that can help you control issues, it can be a simple thing or not.  I know of 2 dog trainers who are very proud of what they do and could probably help get this pup under controll and rehome it!
