Not even in the same ballpark. First, this operation began under a previous administration. Secondly, in regards to Watergate President Nixon was PERSONALLY INVOLVED in said cover-up. There has been no accusations even among republicans that this president was actively involved in decision making as it pertains to this program. Finally, it still has to be determined if any specific laws were broken. Bad decisions do not necessarily equate to illegality. In the case of the Nixon administration breaking and entering was definitely against the law.
In the final analysis I think there has to be a whole lot more information thatneedsto be gathered on this incident before we start making comparisons to Watergate or the Contra scandal under President Reagan.

Where to begin with your inaccuracies (I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt)
Operation Gun Runner and Wide Receiver started under the previous administration were both accomplished WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND APPROVAL of the Mexican Government. At no time NO TIME were weapons lost or untracked.
No laws broken?!?!?! How about allowing and encouraging illegal
Weapon purchases. How about Eric Holder lying to congress?
Executive privilege can only be used for the President's communication. Eric Holder previously stated under oath that BHO was not aware of Fast and Furious. So now you have the problem that either Holder was lying then or lying now. 4951
